Live Lighter Sheffield is a new and inclusive weight management support service brought to you by Zest, the city-based community enterprise.

Our mission is simple. To promote and enable successful and healthy lives for the people of Sheffield.

This new and inclusive service is commissioned by Sheffield City Council and provides city-wide weight management support to children, families, and adults FREE of charge.

We provide a group-based service open to all ages, genders, and abilities with various programmes running at venues across the city, offering both day and evening sessions to suit all.

All our group programmes are led by degree qualified Weight Management Practitioners. So you can look forward to receiving expert, up-to-date and National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) compliant guidance.

Do I qualify for support?

As a minimum:

1. You must live in Sheffield.

2. Do you have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 25 or above? All you need
to do is put in your weight, height, age and sex into the BMI Calculator
for an instant reading.

If your BMI is 25 or above you may also be eligible for some face-to-face support programme, please email us or phone 0114 2702043 to find out whether you meet our other criteria.
